The greatest clowns bar none. Don’t argue – you know this to be true. Two complete comedy geniuses.

Scusate ma come si chiama questa canzone che è meravigliosa?

Sorry but what is it called this song is wonderful?

@SunSop66 what I mean is that it was a reviling clip in the segment, I just like pointing out the reviling clips in the segment

  • SunSop66 posted: 24 Nov at 2:18 am

@Skyoneer2007 Those “sticks” had large nails in the end to pierce trash with. Of COURSE it “missed his foot”. What a moronic statement.

  • SunSop66 posted: 24 Nov at 2:59 am

THE best and funniest comedy team EVER. Consumate comedians individually, and when together untouchable. There likes will never be seen again. Todays so-called “comedians” could not carry Stan and Ollies shoes.

Stay in peace for the eternity, friends of the world.
Thank you for these moments that lift the heart.
    God bless the clowns!

Fantastic clip! The finest comedy team of all time. One can’t help recalling
the famous catchphrases. “Well, here’s another nice mess you’ve gotten
me into”, “Why don;t you do something to HEL:P me?” from the lips of
Mr. Hardy, ‘Well I couldn’t help it!” from Mr. Laurel. and many others.

    Dear TRSev,

The actual title of the song is”We’re A Hundred Pipers!”.

  • phonotd posted: 24 Nov at 9:16 am

He simply pushes his head back against the wall and the brim of the hat causes the hat to rise slightly. If you watch it again you will see him push his head back slightly each time he does it.

Jimmy Finlason gave Homer his ‘doh’, listen for yourself at 4:30. He was famous for making the ‘stink eye’ and an exasperrated “doh!!”

Absolutely my favorite Laurel and Hardy scene – thanks for posting! (btw, the tune is “Wi’ a Hundred Pipers”)

  • celtno1 posted: 24 Nov at 11:50 am

I believe his moustache was actually fake.
    Only worn for movies.

  • ErnstBecker posted: 24 Nov at 12:02 pm

Dont’ forget Jimmy Finlason, the mustache comic that added a flair to every movie that Stan and Laurel starred in over the years.

  • songsoflife posted: 24 Nov at 12:43 pm

Thanks for this…all these years later and Stan and Ollie are still shining brightly in their brilliance…they always make me smile and feel happy..bless them
